Matt is currently a Group Creative Director at Dentsu running the T-Mobile for Business account. Over the course of his tenure, Matt has created brand acts for Intel and Ad Council, launched new app features for Audible, helped win the Totino’s account, and led Subway out of the pandemic and into double-digit growth with some famous faces and the return of the 5 Dollar Footlong. He also led the visual rebrand for the sandwich chain’s Eat Fresh Refresh including packaging, in-store signage, food photography, guidelines and toolkits, oh my.

Before Dentsu, Matt served at BBDO (running AT&T and DirecTV’s social business), Digitas (leading Comcast and eBay’s DRTV efforts), Wunderman/Y&R (producing a global campaign for Dell), and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners (selling nose hair trimmers for Sharper Image).

With a background in art direction and a penchant for writing any chance he gets, Matt brings passion to the process and his craft. While fresh, smart, and funny ideas are his focus, Matt doubles as a client whisperer and enjoys client management probably more than he should.

Matt’s earned his fair share of awards and great press. But it’s sharing two decades of knowledge with his students that he finds even more rewarding. For the past 15+ years, Matt has been an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts and AdHouse. He’s helped students build better books, get better jobs, and become better versions of themselves.
